A note from the childcare providers - He.du. Natur-Erlebnis-Pädagogik:

To ensure a smooth flow at The EMBO Meeting, we will welcome children at the beginning of the conference in the appointed facilities at the RAI Convention centre. They will also be waiting there for their parents at the end of the day.

We will offer them an attractive outdoor programme suitable for children and youngsters up to 13 years old provided by experienced and qualified staff. On-site catering will include a warm meal every day. We will be able to adapt our activities to the needs and wishes of the children, so they can enjoy days full of action.

"beach & sand & fun" programme for children aged three to six years

The youngest children (ages 3 to 6) will benefit from our fully-supervised "beach & sand & fun" programme. We will offer them a full-day care and also listen to their individual wishes. After the meal they will have the opportunity to have a relaxing nap, so you will meet your children bright and breezy at the end of the day. Your little ones will enjoy games appropriate for their age and experience attractive activities that increase their curiosity and keep them on their toes - just the way they like it.

"Amsterdam Adventure" for children aged six to eight years

This nature-based programme has been developed especially for school children (ages 6 to 8). We would like to take your children to one of the most pleasant parks in Amsterdam - the Beatrixpark, where they'll have enough room to have fun and enjoy the fresh air. Our intelligent and creative games will keep them interested and awake. Together, they will have a wonderful opportunity to experience the great outdoors and also learn what Amsterdam has to offer.

City-bound tour for children aged nine to 13 years

Older children (ages 9 to 13) require a different approach. They will participate in a fully supervised city-bound programme, exploring museums and other sights in a fun way, so they can get to know Amsterdam better and develop a relationship with the city. We have prepared a schedule for a tour that will convfont your kids with many challenges. They will have to develop solutions to various tasks while making their way through the city. Of course, our staff will assist them throughout the day, always staying close to hand in case the kids need them. But we would also like to improve their sense of orientation and put their independence to the test.
